About

I'm a full stack web developer and engineering leader based in Cottonwood, Arizona. I specialize in artificial intelligence, systems architecture, DevOps and backend development, with over 20 years of experience in the field.

I started out doing mostly freelance and contract web development. Since then I've worked in e-commerce and higher education, leading teams that build scalable, secure, high-performance web applications.

When I'm not working, you'll find me in one of my workshops (yes, I have several): woodworking, machine embroidery, 3D printing, electronics design, and more. I'm not happy unless I'm learning a new technology or working through a hard project.

I haven't looked back at finishing the degree, but the time wasn't wasted: ASU is where I picked up the engineering mindset and problem-solving I use every day.
